The Kif-Kif Sisters are identical twin sisters, Josette and Françoise Lépine, united by a deep personal and creative bond. Since 2007, they have been creating and performing together, blending circus and multiple disciplines like clowning and robotics into playful, interactive shows full of humor and invention. With backgrounds in both the performing arts and theoretical physics, they combine curiosity and creativity to transform everyday objects in unexpected ways. Their performances, designed for both stage and public spaces, have been presented in over 20 countries in 6 different languages. The Kif-Kif Sisters create colorful, absurd, and highly accessible experiences that invite audiences of all ages to dream, to play, and to see the world around them with new eyes.

Returns Department

Twin sisters welcome you to the Returns Department, where merchandise returned to the store by disgruntled customers is inspected. They discover all sorts of dysfunctional objects and manufacturing defects on their conveyor belt. For them, dealing with complaints is like opening a box of chocolates. Little by little, the temptation to play with the merchandise takes hold, but the objects themselves play some tricks of their own!

Returns Department combines physical theater, circus, robotics and puppetry. With humor inspired by Chaplin and comic strips, the show takes a playful look behind the scenes of a production line. Through defective products, the characters find a space of freedom to express their creativity, invent, and evolve.
