Adam Lazarus is an award-winning theatre creator, actor, director, and instructor whose bold, confrontational work has seen success globally. His plays have been showcased across Europe, Australia, the UK and Canada. His last play, Daughter, a searing solo on toxic masculinity, enjoyed sold out houses and universal praise at the Sydney Festival, the PuSh International Performance Festival, the Sibiu Festival in Romania, the Latitude Festival, an Off-West End run at the Battersea Arts Centre, and was the runaway hit of the Edinburgh Fringe. Other acclaimed creations include The Art of Building a Bunker, a biting race oration co-written with governor general award winning playwright Guillermo Verdecchia; and the vicious bouffon love story, Wonderland. Now, he returns with Versus—a new solo-show that examines our contemporary feelings of being overworked, overstimulated, undervalued, and pulled in every direction by life, family, politics, and the pursuit of wellness. Created with the team behind Daughter and Bunker, Versuscaptures the horror and absurdity of modern life.
