Minister’s Greeting
Honourable Steven Guileault, Official Portrait Ottawa, Ontario, Canada.
Welcome to the 35th Canadian Association for the Performing Arts conference!
Performing arts have the power to open our minds, spark change, and create spaces for inclusion and connection. Since 1985, CAPACOA has been at the heart of this work – building a pan-Canadian network dedicated to helping artists share their stories with audiences from across the country.
Once again this year, the conference brings together artists and arts professionals from every corner of the country for workshops, networking events, and exhibitions that inspire creativity and strengthen connections within our cultural community, both here and abroad.
As Minister of Canadian Identity and Culture and Minister responsible for Official Languages, I wish each and everyone of you a meaningful, productive and inspiring gathering.
The Honourable Steven Guilbeault
